Re: bumpers for baby's crib - are they really safe to use?
I plan to decorate my nursery with a lovely 3 or 4 piece crib set, which
include a comforter, crib sheet, dust ruffle and a bumper. They come in an assortment of beautiful colors, designs and fabrics. What's your opinion: are they safe to use for a newborn baby? Should I be concerned about safety, SIDS? Are there bumpers which are the most safe, which don't come in a 3 or 4 piece crib set? Thank you, everyone for your suggestions, opinions and comments!
I use a breathable mesh bumper (babies'r'us for about $30.00) I like it a lot better than a traditional bumper. It fits tight to the crib and he can't pull it down. Plus it comes in a wide variety of colors that I am sure will match your bedding set.
We chose to use one because our LO was getting his legs stuck in the crib slats.
