Michael Jeffery Jordan is probably one of the most recognizable names in the world of basketball. He was born February 17, 1963 in New York. Jordan was responsible to conduct national Basketball Association or the NBA famous during the 1980s and 1990s. It is the fourth child of his parents, James R. Jordan, Sr. and Deloris Jordan.
As he developed his interest in basketball in high school he went to Wouldn; lets not play because of its size, some months later, he went from being 5'11 "to 6'3". He then obtained a scholarship basketball in 1981 from the University of North Carolina Because of its impressive track record at school. On Thurs 1982 NCAA Championship, he made the game Winning Shot jump, as he says, is the turning point in his career and what makes it what it is today.
He then started his professional career in 1984 when he signed with the Chicago Bulls. When he turned professional and he soon became a public icon and was also on the cover of Sports Illustrated with the headline: "A star is born. " He won the NBA championship from 1991 to 1993 and was then known as the best player in basketball around. Although many people did not he really liked to see the dunk throws. As it was the most famous to do then and what he gave the nickname Air Jordan. It is also the name of the signature shoe that almost every child wants.
In October 1993, he took a temporary leave to go play baseball, but was not very good at that at all and the only reason he even left the basketball was because the loss of his father, he joined in 1995 again. Then he won again, winning NBA championships from 1996 to 1998. He then took another break again in 1999 to return again in 2001, but this time he would join the Washington Wizards. He played with the team until 2003.
Michael Jordan was part of two teams winning Olympic gold medalist. His first team won the first gold medal of the Games Summer Olympics 1984 and the second was in 1992 in the Summer Olympics. He established an NBA record by making the highest career regular season averaging 30.1 points per game. It was the best that ever lived and I think it was my favorite player for a number years until Carmelo Anthony and James Labrona began playing in the NBA. There will always be remembered as making history and he will always the one who first plunged the throws. Even if he was a boy when he grew rapidly in the NBA.
